I’ve been working to create more supportive
and accessible fitness spaces since 2009.

My path has been a winding one, but movement has always been the through line. After training as a contemporary dancer, I found my way into the worlds of fitness and yoga while performing professionally.

Over the years I’ve worked with a huge range of clients and bodies, which continues to inform how I approach movement today. In 2016, I began mentoring aspiring professionals in the foundations of movement science. And in 2022, I created a virtual class community called Mellow Moves, built around mindful, low-impact strength and restorative yoga.

Along the way I earned a master’s degree in Applied Exercise Physiology and collected quite a few professional certifications (you can see them here).

But pregnancy was a true turning point for me, both personally & professionally.

Like many many new moms, I found all the changes wild, the late-night googling relentless, and had plenty of WTF moments.

That experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the kind of physical and emotional support women need during this time. I felt firsthand how powerful movement can be during pregnancy and postpartum. And studying perinatal exercise made me realize how much I love working with this community.

 

After many years working with a wide range of clientele, I felt drawn to focus more deeply on pre- and postnatal movement.

 

Today I help women prepare for and recover from this transformative chapter while staying connected to their strength as they move through motherhood. My approach is thoughtful, adaptable, and grounding, so you can feel confident and resilient at every stage.
